This page documents how gym members consent to receive one-time verification (2FA) SMS from Piper Tech LLC / Movement Pod. Step-by-step opt-in flow

  1. Member completes a Meridian assessment on the Movement Pod kiosk.
  2. Optional post-assessment save / sign-up screen appears (SMS, email, or QR are choices).
  3. If the member chooses "Text me a code," they enter a US mobile number.
  4. They must actively check an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox showing the verbatim label below.
  5. Only then is "Text me a code" enabled; tapping it sends one SMS with a 6-digit code from (724) 409-3816.
